GOOD TO KNOW
Read this before you pack. It’ll make your weekend a lot better.
When + Where
July 2 – 5, 2026 | Kern River, CA | Sequoia National Forest
Weather
July in the Kern River canyon is hot. Like, actually hot — daytime temps regularly hit the high 90s. Bring shade, bring sunscreen, and plan to be in the river in the afternoon.
Nights cool down significantly, dropping into the low 60s, so a light layer for after dark is worth packing.
The short version: dress for summer days and cool summer nights.
What’s Included
Three days of music, workshops, and activities. Camping. Swimming. Hiking. Time by the river. And three catered dinners.
Water
Bring an absolute minimum of 3 gallons of drinking water per person. There is no water source on site. This one’s important — don’t skip it. It will be hot.
Bathrooms
We’ve got you. Luxury restroom trailers and a couple of showers on site. If showering on site is important to you, you may want to bring your own camping sunshower and kiddie pool to capture grey water. Or, you can just take a dip in the river…
